Meet Oral Surgeon Dr. Labart

Dr. Justin Labart is originally from Omaha, Nebraska. However, he has been a resident of the Kansas City area for over 20 years. He attended the University of Kansas and completed his undergraduate training at the University of Missouri- Kansas City with honors. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery as well as his Medical Degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City with honors. He then began his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Truman Medical Center and their affiliated hospitals including St. Luke’s and Children’s Mercy Hospitals. In addition, he completed a one-year residency in General Surgery. He is well trained and has a broad scope of practice due to his comprehensive training in dental implants, removal of impacted teeth, bone grafting, oral and maxillofacial pathology, maxillofacial trauma, temporomandibular joint disorders as well as corrective, reconstructive and orthognathic jaw surgery.

Dr. Labart also has extensive training in general anesthesia and is capable of safely providing most of his services under sedation in the office. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Kansas Dental Association, American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Kansas Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. In addition, he is certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support and Advanced Trauma Life Support.

In his free time, Dr. Labart enjoys spending time with family. His hobbies include golfing, fishing, landscaping/home improvement and traveling.
